Save the Date! Our 2022 Annual Conferene and Business Meeting is scheduled for April 26-27 in Clayon, NY

Join us in the riverside community of Clayton to learn, share, improve, and discuss wetland science, management, policy, and related matters. You’ll also enjoy networking with your colleagues aboard a St. Lawrence River tour boat reception.

  • Stormwater and Waste Water Treatment
  • Wetland/Habitat/Stream Restoration
  • Environmental Considerations in Disaster Response
  • Green Energy: Hydro, Solar, & Wind Projects
  • Wetland Mitigation

Presenter registration fee is discounted. Students who present or display a poster receive a registration fee waiver.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: Please submit your oral presentation abstract for consideration. Include the title, author(s), contact information, and a description of the topic in 300 words or less. Indicate the primary presenter, if more than one author is listed. NYSWF will provide computer and projector (PowerPoint) equipment. All presenters must register and pay the discounted conference registration fee, unless they are attending the Conference for their session only.

a non-advocacy organization comprised of individuals and groups with diverse backgrounds, interests and viewpoints regarding wetlands and their science, use and management.

Incorporated in 1994, the Forum is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Its purpose is to:

•improve communication among people interested in wetlands,
•call attention to and objectively discuss local, statewide, regional, national and global wetland issues as they relate to New York State,
•improve its members' knowledge and understanding of wetlands, and
•make available information about wetlands to its members and the general public.
