Radin Consulting, Inc. (RCI) is a small planning and design consulting firm located in downtown Newark, NJ, across the street from Newark Penn Station. We have convenient access to NYC and other destinations within NJ.
RCI is looking for a mid-level Environmental Planner/Scientist to be a part of our Environmental team. The right candidate will have experience in regulatory environmental permitting, be able to prepare environmental documents, most specifically applying to NEPA and SEQRA, and have working knowledge of other environmental rules and regulations including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, National Historic Preservation Act, and other resources related to wetlands, endangered species, water quality, cultural resources.
Minimum requirements include a BS degree in Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science or related field. The candidate must have knowledge of local, state and federal regulations pertaining to permitting (wetlands, stream encroachment, CAFRA, etc.). Knowledge of wetland delineation procedures is a plus. The right candidate will possess excellent writing skills, commitment to accuracy and quality, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
