Nominees run at large and officers will be elected at the first meeting of the new board. Nominations were solicited from the membership. The nominating committee presents a slate of candidates, that, with continuing board members, include agricultural, consulting, education, environmental, governmenta, industry, land conservation, legal, planning, recreation, scientific, and social policy interests.

New York State Wetlands Forum members may make further nominiations by submitting written petitions signed by at least ten members in good standing (dues paid) to the secretary. They must arrive at P.O. Box 1351, Latham, New York 12110-1351 by no later than March 15, 1999.
